Suspended Staircase in Villa on Jumeirah Island, Dubai

We designed this feature staircase that serves as luxury villa located at the tip of Jumeirah Island. This staircase occupies a double height volume and is hung from the roof slab with stainless tubes. 

The treads are made of reinforced epoxy impregnated travertine which were validated through a stringent quality process which included a rigorous lab testing of tread samples and each tread being load tested in the factory. 

We worked closely with Al Hashem Marble, the specialist fabricator and stone supplier, to implement the secret-fixed connections and the general execution of what is a very elegant staircase.
