EXPO 2020 Dubai – Australia Pavilion

We developed an alternative design for this complex structural frame for the Australian Pavilion for EXPO 2020 whilst working with lead consultant and architect Salfo.

This was achieved through a value engineering process which challenged the prevailing assumptions on the project and where we developed a geometrically more efficient layout and optimised the individual structural elements.

This all resulted in a 40% reduction in steelwork tonnage on the project, benefiting time, cost and quality of construction whilst achieving a building that is inherently more sustainable.
